Born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii, Eric comes from a culture of the Aloha spirit of openness and authenticity. When he first moved to the East Bay, he found a similar spirit along with an eclectic culture that immediately made him feel at home.
Upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Eric began a career in advertising technology, where he worked across Sales and Product Management. Eric worked on building $100M dollar businesses and partnerships with tech giants as a product and sales leader. While Eric enjoyed success in the tech industry, his passion was always real estate.
Since making the transition from tech, Eric leverages his experience of building, marketing, and selling tech products to the real estate world. Real estate sales share similarities with tech sales, including discovery of customer needs, understanding the competition, identifying macro and micro market drivers, consumer psychology, and resource investment. The principles of creating and presenting desirable products for the broadest appeal translates well to real estate. It requires strategy, business acumen, market savvy, and most importantly, an understanding of people and psychology. Mastering these skills helped Eric thrive as a product and sales leader in the tech world, and have allowed him to differentiate and find success in real estate.
Real estate is deeply rooted in relationships and Eric’s clients deeply value his Aloha spirit. While great results are the ultimate goal, the journey can be just as important. The Aloha Spirit is the life force that guides Eric’s heart and mind , forging meaningful partnerships with clients to help them achieve their goals. In times of difficult decisions, it’s easy for one to get tangled in the emotions of a transaction, and Eric’s Aloha Spirit can help navigate the emotions and help guide them to their goal.
